A Faire of the Heart 2008
A History of Healthcare Support

SEE THE PHOTOS!

The Serra Project held its Annual A Faire of the Heart on December 9th at The California Club in downtown Los Angeles.

The yearly event
benefits the organization's supportive housing programs for destitute men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS in Los Angeles County.

Anthem Blue Cross Foundation, an affiliate of WellPoint Foundation, was honored with our Community Award. Gold Sponsors included Houston-based Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, who operate St. Mary Medical Center as part of Catholic Healthcare West, and Wells Fargo.

The founding of The Serra Project in 1987 would not have been possible without the strong support of seven Los Angeles-area hospitals, among them St. Mary Medical Center. The hospital continues to demonstrate its commitment to AIDS-impacted people in need through its Comprehensive Resource and Education (C.A.R.E.) Program. Nearly half of the people served by The Serra Project live in Long Beach and benefit from the resources of St. Mary Medical Center.
